Arion & the Dolphin performance
Arion & the Dolphin received a wonderful performance in May at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. In this magnificent venue the choir of St George’s School, accompanied by Kensington Brass, gave a memorable rendition of this cantata in their Gala Concert.

ARION & THE DOLPHIN Philip’s 20-minute cantata, received a wonderful, semi-staged performance at Bridgewater Hall, Manchester in March 2017. The 90-strong Hallé Children’s Choir, under the direction of Shirley Court and Wendy Cook, gave an inspired rendition of this mythical tale.

2013 Hastings International Composers Festival
Two of Philip’s pieces featured in the 2013 Hastings International Composers Festival in September – Song of Peace and My Spirit Longs for Thee received excellent performances by the London Gala Orchestra and the Winchester Consort, conducted by Derek Carden.

Philip commissioned to write a new choral work
Fleet Singers of Hampstead have commissioned Philip to write a new choral work. Taking ‘the natural world’ as its theme, the piece will last about 25 minutes and will include sections for children’s choir as well as adult. First performance on May 18th 2013, St Anne’s Church, Highgate.
